Blogging Your Way Course To New Inspiration

So this is where I sit. Lately I've been sitting in front of my computer a lot. Taking notes and making mind maps. Listing things and executing things. I'm studying. Online. It is intense and incredibly fun. The sun is going down outside my window and I light a candle to get some "hygge" feeling.

Have you ever done a blog course? I have. And I am doing it again, because you always learn something new about yourself, you set new goals as a blogger and you discover some nitty gritty stuff you didn't know before. And you get inspired. I am so inspired!!!

I am taking a Blogging Your Way online course with Holly Becker at Decor8. It is an inspiration course with focus on Blogging and Social media. As you all know, 2016 was not a great blog year for me and I was so close to give it all up (read about it here) but I stuck it through, and I really want to protect my space and keep on having this corner of Cyber World that I share with you. And that is why I am taking this course. To re-discover my blogging mojo and all that joy it brings. Because the best thing you can do when being stuck, is to educate yourself to move forward.

I've done courses with Holly before. In 2012 I did a Basic BYW e-course, but the timing was so bad that I couldn't attend very much. Two years later I signed up for a new blog course for experienced bloggers called Blog Boss, and enjoyed it immensely (read about it here).
Holly's courses are so good. She is the most lovely and captivating teacher and she feels like a good friend in the virtual class room. She is very generous, personal and on point with the information she shares, which makes her trust worthy. She knows what she is talking about. She is an expert and she doesn't hide anything from you, quite the opposite - she gives you all the tools you need to become  a successful blogger. But... You get what you put in. You work hard and you will see results. You make the course happen for you. If you throw yourself in there to connect, engage and really get to the point with your homework, you will walk out with your head up high and an inspiration overload.

This last week has been intense and lots of self discovery and examining work has been done. My head is already full of inspiration and you can expect some posts about blogging and social media showing up here in the near future. Watch this space for some blogging conversation. And crochet... of course. I just have to share my Granny Cardigan progress... See you around.

Education is such a great inspiration. You not only learn new things but with that new knowledge you grow as a person, professional and in your mind and soul. The day we stop learning is the day we die of boredom... Thanks for popping in!

  4. Good for you! I am all for education of any kind and inspiration is so wonderful! I love when something inspires me...it's like finding a secret room I knew nothing about and I gt so excited! I am in the process of trying to sell my house so now would not be a good time but after I move it would be great to take that class especially when you recommend it.
I love your blog, your posts, your projects and I think you have me convinced to start that granny sweater! I shouldn't but I need practical items to make and it might be a while before I tackle a knitted sweater....this sounds wonderful! There I go....getting excited again! LOL! Thank you for all the inspiration you provide!

    1. Hello dear
Thank you for your sweet words. So happy to inspire you. When you're done with your move and have settled a bit you should consider doing one of Holly's blog courses. Even if I've taken her courses before, I'm like you - love growing and learning. And I always learn something new. Good luck with the move and all and have a wonderful weekend.
